“This has been an amazing season. I can’t thank everyone at GMS Racing, Chevrolet and Drivers Edge Development enough. Maury Gallagher (owner), Mike Beam (team president) and Mardy Lindley (crew chief) have put together the best team for me and given me fast Chevy Accessory Chevrolets at every race.
“To become the youngest NASCAR champion is incredible. I have learned so much this year and can’t wait for the 2020 season to start already. I’m headed to Indy in the morning to try to get my first ARCA win. Back-to-back wins in the same weekend would be awesome.”
